The IRS and its Free File Alliance partners are pleased to provide a special service to people who are filing a tax return solely to receive their economic stimulus payment. There is no charge for this program.
Once the tax return is filed, you don't need to do anything else. The IRS will do the rest. Starting in May, the IRS will begin sending the economic stimulus payments based on direct deposit or address information provided.
